It's an exhibition game with who knows who will be playing nor how much the players playing will actually care

Is this a pre excuse for BK if we lose?

Right ! Anyone who putting stock into this game is not going to be happy! I hope LSU win but I understand that this team is totally different from the one that ended the year

Why on earth would anyone care about the outcome of this game? It's literally going to be 2 different teams than what played this entire season. The result of the game has no bearing on anything.

We're 2-0 in bowl games under Kelly and I could care less if it was 0-2 or 2-0 because those games dont matter. They are basically winter scrimmage games for these teams.

Last time we played Baylor was in my opinion the worst bowl performance in my lifetime by an LSU team....Unless you want to count 1/9/12 as a bowl game.

It was the 1985 Liberty Bowl they beat us 21-7 and it was much worse than the score, our only TD was on a punt return.

I know Baylor started poorly this year and everyone thought Aranda was about to get fired but they finished very strong and have some momentum now.

LSU missing most of it's OL and 3 of the starting receivers in Lacy, CJ and Mason. Defensively missing both edge rushers. (edit: I was wrong. Savion and Swinson are both playing)

There are just a lot of LSU's impact players that are gone so I can see why the line is moving towards Baylor. Doesn't mean they will win, but I'd say this really is a toss up game at this point.

The good news is the game doesn't effect anything, gets practice and playing time in for returning players and next season's team will look considerably different with a huge infusion of talent.

Lol at you if you think this affects BK in any way if he wins or loses.

These bowls are completely meaningless these days. Half the team ends up opting out most of the time.

I bet you’re one of the morons who thinks that Georgia beating Florida State by 60 in the bowl game last year actually said something about the two teams even though all of Florida State’s good players opted out to prepare for the NFL draft.

I have heard a lot about how important is is to win 10 games the past two years so I guess those bowl games mattered huh?

It didn't mean anything about last years team but might have been a precursor for what happened this year.

Brian Kelly desperately wanted 10 wins so he could tell us to STFU, but it ain't gonna happen and we'll automatically lose to Clemson in our opener next season.

As for beating Baylor, I hope we win and I hope it's a fun game to watch.

Baylor has 21/22 starters playing

LSU missing 3/4 top pass catchers and 3 offensive linemen

Seem obvious why Baylor would be favored

Bowl games have become irrelevant unless you’re in the playoffs. That being said, it is still a great experience for players.

I still want the tier 2 players mixed in with the starters for next year to play well. After all you still have to have a solid team.

I remember that ‘85 game vividly. I taped it and burned it. Only tape I ever destroyed.
