The Virginia Tech CB transfer is seriously good.

CB1 and it isn't close. He would have fit right in on on some of our "DBU" teams.
Can and will lock down parts of the field , not many SEC WRs who will beat him reliably outside of a Ryan Williams type.
That was such a good pickup.

We saw him get cooked by Vandy in another post today. Hopefully that was just a bad Sage type day.

He’s definitely one of the top corners in the country

Duece Chestnutt incoming

He’s solid but idk about cb1. If he was as good as you’re saying he would’ve gone pro
He’s probably on par with stamps but not significantly better imo
Still think stamps is cb1 while the 2 transfers and Pickett battle for the other corner

He’s more of a nickel , 2nd CB that can play in the box and plays the run. Pickett and the Florida CB will most likely play the boundary. A really good pickup and upgrade. 3 year starter.

the clip against vandy it looked like he doesn't have great speed so does that not worry y'all

He plays the run well. Might be bringing him in at Star. Got to be an upgrade from Burns.

Asked my vt buddies and they thought he shouldve went pro this year.
Tons of talent in the db room

Wasn’t everyone hyped about Duce Chestnut in the offseason before he came…from ACC and had some accolades.
Not trolling but just seems like we get overly excited about players who choose us

Watched Duece twice this year against Miami and Boston College and he looked pretty good, maybe his two best games all year, i dunno but he didn't look like the Lsu couldn't get on the field Duece. I cant explain what happens with some of these guys. Omar Speights is starting Mlb for a playoff bound NFL wildcard team as a rookie. Systems and fit matter a ton.

Roundabout way to say House figured out how to do less with more.

Stamps is not close to an an SEC level cb1 he wouldn’t even sniff the field in a classic lsu defensive backfield.
