I don't blame Willie for the team's struggles during his tenure, especially the games where Zion and / or BI were out, but we are 5-22 getting blown out regularly. Something has to change.

Now from a timing standpoint makes sense as well. You have 3 off days then a short trip to Houston before a long homestand.
3 days off allows the interim to get organized and having the long homestand gives the opportunity to practice at the facility and work on anything the interim coach wants to fix.
If it doesn’t get done now it won’t be until the new year.

I can't wait for them to make the move and elevate Borrego. Then we will see what a massive shitshow it still is and how swapping coaches made no difference at all. He's already here and it's not working. But I guess he's OK with players ignoring him until he becomes the head coach. Green is just holding him back..

I’m fairly convinced Griff is keeping him BECAUSE he sucks at this point.

True, but he’s got 3 decent excuses.And he should get no hate from the fans at this point.
1) His mom had a stroke a few days before the opener
2) Zion’s fatass sat out of the opener with hurt feelings (and Murray got hurt as a result)
3) Murray rehabbed in a respectable amount of time, only to return to a team that still was nursing major injuries, including to Zion.
