My grandmother always thought I looked like Magnum, P.I. because I was tall and wore a baseball cap (not the Tigers), shorts and the occasional Aloha shirt. The girls 50 years younger were not as enthralled.

I remember Magnum, and shows like The Fall Guy, Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider, The A Team, Miami Vice, Airwolf, etc. I was still pretty young and a lot of the plot and jokes went over my head, but I just liked the action and car chases. This was when I was really into Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars and you could buy the ones from the tv shows.

I cannot believe it has been that long already. Where has the time gone? They sure don't make shows like this anymore.

I loved it...but it pisses me off, too. There are few support characters I have liked as much as I liked Mac. Decades later, I'm still pissed about it, and every time I think about that episode, it reminds me of it.

Im watching as they have it free on the roku app. In season 4 now. Just saw the Christmas Eve episode where they get stranded on an island. That one and Higgins’ surprise party were great episodes. Favorite line so far:
TC: “Higgy baby. Im gonna get you for this.”
Higgins: “TC baby. It aint over until it’s over.”
TC: “Higgy baby. Im gonna get you for this.”

The Bellisarios put out some bangers in the 80s and their daughter was on a hit show a few years back.
