LSU is fricked next year. Portal or not, you will be playing with guys who probably have never played as a whole unit together and it will be a fricking clown show. Nuss is going to have to play like Burrow and Daniels to cover all the mistakes this Oline will make. If not, he will get hurt.

Yeah it’s difficult to be optimistic about this program going into year 4 with the makeup of the roster.

I can’t imagine Brian Kelly actually spent 17 hour days in the office earning his pay with where we currently stand.

I mean, we had what was supposed to be the best OL in America and they had more false starts than any O-line that I can remember at LSU. And they were bad at run blocking (though the OC and QB never pulling the ball didn't help).

It sucks to lose basically your whole line, but the OL has some major issues this year.

I wonder what the record is for career false starts by a center?

Yup, don't expect to contend next year. We lost our strength.

Can’t get any worse in run blocking. Pass blocking we shall see. Jayden made that entire line look a lot better than they really were. Burrow did the same thing with the 2019 line.

Look never a good thing you basically have to replace the entire O-Line but they were far from perfect this year. Some of the blame is on Sloan but Campbell was a false starting machine a decent part of the year. Thomas step on down for next year

Youngins are gonna need to man up or they will just get replaced by another body via the portal. It's the way of the world

With a veteran OL, they were not very good as a unit, maybe it improves with new talent, we shall see

Exactly! Good thing is LSU has done a good job of recruiting OL, they are just unproven. Time to see what guys like Weston Davis and Tyree Adams can do.

LSU has recruited as good or better on the OL than anyone.

Did anyone really expect Jones to return? Naive, if so.

This is nothing more than the nature of the NIL and transfer era of college football. Do you not see all of the other teams and how many kids are transferring. This just adds another element and more work for the coaches. If there is enough funds available and the coaching staff puts in the work then these spots will be filled with capable players.

A few years ago we started two true freshman at our tackle positions (Campbell & Jones) and they turned out ok. We will be fine.

You can never predict offensive line. I’m not even worried tbh. We had a stacked line this year and we see how that worked out. If the guys next year are just more physical and have a mean streak I’ll be happy.
