I can’t stand Smashing Pumpkins change my mind.

Weird thing is, I absolutely love the drumming in the Smashing Pumpkins, but really can’t stand the rest of the band. Recommend some songs to me that you think may change my opinion. It doesn’t have to be drum focused songs

Start with the entire Gish album & see if they grow on you.

They definitely fall into a love/hate category in my opinion. I didn't really appreciate them until I was older. That said, it's still possible to not "get" or like a band and still recognize their talent/contributions.

The first three albums are beyond great. If you don’t like them, you won’t be changing your mind.

I agree... great record! I liked some songs off of Siamese Dream and not much after that.. Mayonnaise may be there best song (or maybe Drown)...
I used to really dislike Billy Corgan, but don't really care anymore..

Their first three studio albums and the two compilations from that era are about as good as anything that came out in the 90s

I don't like them either. Corgan's whine is one of the worst in rock.

Simease Dream and Mellon Collie were massive.

I love the pumpkins and have no interest in changing your mind. I will say that I’ve seen them twice and both times billy corgan came off as a whiny pretentious dork. I mean, I’m pretty sure that’s well known but…

No
You have a very clear line of thinking regarding them. They suck.
...and his whining voice sucks also.

Siamese Dream is damned near perfect. If you don’t like it then I don’t think there’s changing your mind on the Pumpkins

Cherub Rock rules. Billy Corgan is a d-bag of the highest order. Cobain level douche.

I distinctly remember the night that the video hit MTV. I was smitten.
