After many many years of waiting. We finally got a tag. My 13 year old smoked a big ol boar. 490# and is estimated at over 20 years old. Pretty sure he is a B&C bear.

Well, what's the plan??? I've seen many bears killed on those Alaska survival type shows and those folks eat the meat from the kill.

They do usually tan and preserve the hide, maybe flesh out the skull and boil it to save as a trophy.

Yes we took him to Petoskys and getting him processed.
We are going to do a full body mount to put in our camp
This was in Madison Parish.
