Are there any Gin drinkers? What are your favorites? What do you like to mix it with?

I love my bourbon and whiskey, but I’ve gotten into Gin these past couple years. I love Hendricks and Gunpowder. What are all your favorites? Always looking for new ones to try and new drink ideas.

My summer go-to is often Gin/Sprite and a squeeze of lemon to take some of the sweet bite out of it. I drink that over ice and find it a refreshing drink in the summer heat.

Citadelle.
But I’m embarrassed because it’s French.
Crazy as it sounds cheap arse Seagrams is pretty good, especially for the price.
As someone below said Beefeaters is good.
I also like Empress but it may just be the color. Haha!

For gin, Hendricks is just so good. Gunslinger which you mentioned is good as well. I really like Monkey 47.
I have Corsairs barrel aged gin at the house which is interesting.
If you want high end you can do Nolet's. The reserve is excellent. I wouldn't spend $800 on a bottle of gin, but my dad always has a full bottle so I just drink his when I'm over there.

I haven't had a lot of different gins, but I love Hendricks when I drink gin. I also prefer gin bloody marys rather than those with vodka.

Hendricks with tonic but muddle and garnish with a cucumber. Citrus does not go well with Hendricks.

Gin is awful shite, almost on par with tequila. Almost every one I've smelled has botanicals out the arse. I guess that means you don't need tonic, at least. Aviation is the only one I can regularly consume, unless I'm trapped on a plane, and then it's first come first serve.
I brought a bottle of Roku Gin to Thanksgiving dinner, and the brit loved it, and promptly got borderline smashed, so there's that.

If you like Gins on the floral/herbal side, try Nolet's.
I usually mix with tonic and lime. Gin and juice is good too.

Got into gin a couple years ago with the FIL. Have tried a bunch. Personally, I find some of the more expensive ones too 'clean' maybe filtered. Hendrick's being one. Just not much gin flavor. Have had so much Bombay Sapphire it tastes gross now. Other fancier ones that are pricey.
Beefeater is my go to now. Has a good basic gin flavor without too many botanicals and won't break the bank. Good base if you want to make a more complicated drink and tasty enough for G&T. Keep it simple.

I’ve bought/tried every gin made in Louisiana. My personal favorite is Euphrosine, but I like a London Dry style that’s heavy on the juniper.
It’s hard to beat a G&T made with a really good tonic and fresh squeezed lime.
Make a gin fizz if you’re trying to impress somebody. I also like a Corpse Reviver No.2 or a Last Word
Gin can be very regional as the botanicals could/should be native to that area. The good part of this is that it usually won’t break the bank.

I’m in a similar situation. Typically just a whiskey, wine and beer guy, but I’ve been turned into gin a lot lately.
My day to day is Hendrix. I also really like Monkey 47.

Have you tried the barrel aged bourbon gin from Gentilly/ Seven-Three distillery out of New Orleans?
Also Porter's Orchard gin is really good. No tonic, serve it over ice.
We have about 55 gins at my pizza place and I have learned that gins come in all flavors

Yep. Cucumber goes really well with Hendricks since it already has cucumber in it. If you want gin and citrus then Beefeater is probably a better choice since it is already lemony.

We keep Roku around for martinis, Sheringham for G&Ts and Hendricks just because it's delicious.

Yep, I’ve tried their and Euphrosine’s barrel aged gins. Not a fan of it personally.

A Negroni is one of my favorite cocktails. Gin & tonic with cucumber is nice too. Hendricks is a must.
