Obviously there may be transfers and guys we don’t expect to declare, but as of today, rank the needs in the portal.
(I see Safety as #1 after that a lot of debate)

An elite WR.
I think LSU has plenty of depth, just need a true No.1.

I think we need a more experienced and talented QB behind Nuss unless Hurley is a lot further along than everyone knows about.
Need proven DEs (probably 2).
Need a proven corner (at least one, hopefully Jakeem Jackson from Florida).
Need a proven safety (at least one).
Need a proven WR maybe two.
Would be nice to have an experienced offensive lineman.
Anyone that is an upgrade or a depth piece and wants to be at LSU, take them.

2 Oline with1 being a Center
2 Safeties
1 CB
1 WR
1 Edge rusher
Disappointed in losing both Daniels and Womack with both slotted as starters

Need:
Center
Safety
QB of the future
Want:
#1 WR
Anything else would just be for depth. I have faith in the development of our young pieces elsewhere.

We need to get a good edge rush guy or two. Would be great if the Kobbins hype turns out to be legit. I know safety should be considered a need, but I’d really like to see them hand the keys over to K Jackson and Spears back there

I agree.
A lot of this depends on where our guys are as far as development. Spears and Jackson should be able to start next year, but if they're not ready, hit the portal.
At DE, I think Reliford should start and then see who's next up between Carpenter, Cobbins, and Jackson.
At WR, I think we definitely need a balanced WR1.
I actually feel good at Corner. Pickett should start day one, Stamps has the tools and looked pretty good this year. Woodland has also looked solid when in the field. Hopefully, we'll hold onto Brown, JK, and Causey for depth, and maybe move Ju'Juan back there.
We definitely need at least one TE who can block. If Mason comes back, I think we'll be okay there.

Not a response to your post but just looking at a TP thread on the More Sports Board it shows UGA starting CB Julien Humphrey from Houston Clear Lake in the portal. He is listed as the #1 CB in the portal at the moment. He started 10 games gor UGA this season.
I dont mind getting a quality player at any position if available.

Quarterback.
Alpha wide receiver.
Center, Guard, Tackle
Safety.
Edge.
Corner.
Even with some highly regarded freshmen coming in next year, the starting lineup has a lot of holes to plug.
