He is Indian. The OP’s point is that Kamala was also Indian. It’s not a valid point, because Kamala was 1/16 black; I have not heard that about Kash.

In 44 years of voting, I don’t think I’ve ever pulled a lever for a Democrat. I hope you are not accusing the Republican Party of being race-focused.

That was in his first two elections. I donated $3300 in this last one. I was going to send another $3300 in my wife’s name, but she was giving me shite about it. She was pro-Trump, but she is tight with money.
I watched the election returns with five other pro-Trump couples and with life sized cutouts of Vance and Trump on either side of my TV. I smoked a brisket.
My feelings about Trump are mixed. I had deep reservations about him at first because I was sure he was going to be a liberal once in office. I was pleasantly surprised that he governed as a conservative, and one who had good instincts on what traditional conservative ground is foolish to defend. His disarming of the abortion issue in 2024 is a classic example.
My main remaining dislike of Trump is his sensitivity around his vanity. It is a weakness, and it’s highly unattractive. This is offset by his comedic value as a troll. My wife and I are going to the inauguration with a couple from near Pittsburgh. I’m trying to get tickets from Kennedy - another guy I gave $3300 to - but I can’t get him, or his assistant, to call back.
