Would any team in the league trade Dyson Daniels for Dejounte Murray?

Forget about draft picks. I think most teams would rather have Dyson at his age and salary than Murray at his age with his contract. Pels got killed on that deal.

It was a win now move. Then the entire team got hurt.

Daniels would be garbage in Willie’s offense

Willie has an offense?

He doesn’t that’s the problem. No one looks good in this crap

This idiocy is the true definition of prisoner of the moment. And I’m as big a Dyson guy as there is.

Well said...and I'm a HUGE Dyson fan myself. (BTW: Dyson STILL can not shoot a lick from outside and his failure to improve...ESPECIALLY on his FTs...over his first 3 years...is beginning to give me serious pause)

No idiocy at all. I’d rather have Dyson (age 21) this season and the next two years for a total of $19 million than Murray (age 28) for this season and the next couple years at $30 million plus a year.

I get your point but Dejounte makes barely 30 mill or under the next two years. Thats a steal for an all star point guard. I understand we may not need one now with everything thats going on but hard to say its a big burden on the pels though. Dejounte has a really good contract and if need be can be easily tradeable as well.

Murray is not an all-star caliber point guard.
Even if healthy, you think he makes it over:
Curry, Doncic, SGA?
I don’t think Murray is even in discussion to be an all-star.

He literally was chosen to an all star game.

No I never said he was a MVP candidate or one of the best players in the league.
I think you’re missing the point here. Murrays contract for what he gives you is seen around the NBA as a really good contract.

I just listed the point guards on the all-star team. The only other guard was Booker.
Murray made one all-star game in a career year in San Antonio, that doesn’t mean the Pels are getting an all-star.
I think his salary is fine, not a steal but not ridiculously overpaid. I appreciate your opinion, but I would rather have a younger, improving player with another $23-24 million to spend elsewhere.

Yes, every single team

I’m absolutely fascinated with the media on a national level and how easily our fan base follows along. It never fails. Dyson plays one game outside of the Pels, doing exactly what he does, and he’s the greatest thing ever.
His Fg% is worse, 3pt% worse, FT about the same, rebound rate worse, assist rate worse. He’s played more and shot more (at terrible percentages).
He’s gotten one more steal per 36, but also a higher turnover rate.
Look at how people discuss Steven Adams and Jonas. Apparently they were great before and after, but terrible here? That’s not a thing. We bash BI today, even though he’s been dominant and consistent for years. It’s wild.

Ingram fans have got to get off the cross. He is faking an injury right now (or at least exaggerating it) to get a new deal. He is up/down since he's been here, not even mentioning the injuries. Everyone is fair game for critique.

It's wild that you believe that this actually happened. When has he ever been dominant?

All of these threads about Dyson are just dumb, and I was one of his biggest defenders when he was here and think he will end up a good player. Murray has accomplished as much as a PG as BI has as a wing. Look at their resumes, they’re pretty similar.
To try and act like Dyson is a player of that caliber is as nuts as the people that thought Trey could fill Ingram’s shoes this season. Maybe Trey becomes more of a scorer eventually, but most of what he’s good at now requires being set up. He’s a role playing starter, just like Dyson. To try and act like he gives you more than an All Star caliber starter is just absurd.
