Rumors are spreading that 10 tu-95 Russian bombers are launching cruise missiles at cities across Ukraine. Attacking specifically the water and electric grid.

This stupid administration that is on it's way out is hell bent on escalation in this conflict.
We shouldn't even be involved unless it is through NATO, if at all, and the EU folks should be cleaning up their own mess on that side of the pond.
Having our own troops on the ground (yes they are) and then funding and supplying the armaments is drawing us into this thing even further.
If they back Putin in to a corner this is going to get worse, not better.

Should be tried for war crimes - from the top to the neocons.

So?
This shouldn't concern us. Not our war. Not our border.

Fun facts for this trying time:
The Tu-95 is “the only propeller-powered strategic bomber still in operational use today. The Tu-95 is one of the loudest military aircraft, particularly because the tips of the propeller blades move faster than the speed of sound.”

The Ukraine is using our weapons and more recently our guidance systems (being controlled by us).
Russia considers this an act of war by the U.S. are you paying attention?

I'm sure the D.C. rats will be here shortly to explain how we must repair it all immediately by papering it over with billions of dollars.

"Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack against Ukraine the morning of Nov. 28, targeting energy infrastructure.
Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that Russia struck a "massive blow" at the nation's power grid, with attacks on energy infrastructure occurring throughout the country. Ukrenergo, the state grid operator, announced emergency blackouts in multiple regions in an effort to safeguard the energy system from Russia's assault."

Those TU-95s look badass. They look and sound like war machines.
Saw two fly into Barksdale in the early 90s.

I just got done messaging with my Ukrainian girls who are telling me Kyiv has no power and they are upset because they can not make their onlyfan videos without good lighting.
(I made this up and was trying to sound like WeeWee in the OT thread)

Neither were WW1, WW2, Korea, and Vietnam.

Is there an advantage using a prop plane like this Russian TU-95 over a jet like our B-52?

you gotta wonder why russia didn't do this on day 1 of the war instead of now. if the war ever comes to the usa, i expect the grid to be the first thing taken out.

Nobody is getting near our grids.
That's the great thing about having huge bodies of water separating us from the enemy.
