You can't stop like that, you gotta keep going Ryan!

Happened once to me like that. Next time I just used some pull tight straps on the ramp.

those ramps come with straps so that doesn't happen.

I got a GMC, and I'm uncomfortable loading my atv with the whole tailgait sticking out. I'm been dropping that top tailgate so I don't break it, and that leave for a quick stop when I get in the bed. Is that half GMC tailgate rated for that kind of weight? I don't want this to happen to me.

Or back into a ditch or angled ground and make the angle much easier. I failed to put pull straps on once. Barely made it in the bed. Never again

People didn't learn to put a strap on the ramp to stop this from happening?
Guy is lucky the 4 wheeler didn't land on top of him

Same, my ramp had a little chain on each side to attached to the strap hook of the bed. Forgot to clip them once, and the ramp slid out from under me. Didnt damage anything luckily.

Happened to me once and I went and bought a trailer the next week.
ETA: What's funny is that my buddy was loading his 4 wheeler right beside me at the same time...he drove through his back glass and mine fell off the tailgate. We had another buddy with us and he got to see the whole thing unfold.

I walk beside the bike and skip riding up the ramps with it. I’m fairly tall. Might not work for all.

I do this as well.
I hook the straps up on the ramp and then walk it up with my hand on the throttle. I think strap it down with motorcycle straps. I also put a foam roller standing up at the front of my truck. I've got a dented bed in my camp truck from it hitting the front too hard. I've also had a back window bust out while going down the road from the front rack hitting the window.

Ive an xtra long tri- fold ramp with straps. The xtra length makes the ramp not as steep, straps keep it from kicking out, and I use a La Guard Dog hitch mount to secure it. Im not trusting my atv with ratchet straps to keep it from coming out my truck bed.

Yea that's what I would need. In my 06 Sierra it wasn't a problem riding up. With the newer trucks being so high, the shorter ramps make it way more butt clinching driving it up. So I just use my trailer now.

While I am completely comfortable with my atv in gear, brakes locked and with large straps holding it down, I may just ask for that for Christmas!

I bought a trailer for mine not long after it got the 4 wheeler. I did not like trying to load it in the bed if the truck on those ramps.
ETA: New truck might be a little easier size you can raise and lower the height of the bed with a push of a button.

That’s a large “quad”.
He stopped to keep from running through the back glass.

Safety straps, and never do it on concrete or asphalt. Get in the yard so the ramps dig into the dirt if the try to slip a little.

Legit as shite. Well worth the $$. You can slide your ramps under the four wheeler and when you drop the bar in it keeps that in place too.
There is one you can bolt to the deck of your trailer too.
I drilled out some extra trailer pins and got some long shank locks and lock the pins and leave the fourbwheeler in the truck u less I need to get it out to fetch a deer.
