All the MSM does now is opinion pieces and then add “sources say” or “an anonymous source has confirmed” so it gives what they are saying some validity in their eyes

His remarks about what a report actually is, are pretty accurate. Unfortunately, it doesn't describe any of the editorial propagandists on the MSM.

They just don't get it. They do nothing other serve power centers now (unless Trump is in office). You will never have a Seymour Hersh type blow the lid on the military or intel agencies anymore.

If journalists ever once told the whole truth we MIGHT not be here.
But... they lied to us over and over again to the point lies were just the default for almost all major newspapers/magazines, cable TV/OTA TV and so on.

When "journalism" grows a permanent umbilical cord to a corporate or political master, it is no longer useful.
X is certainly less filtered, "fact" checked and more chaotic, but it's also far more useful because it's harder to control. A controlled media is poison to a free nation.

Jim Vandehi is a liar because his mass media has not acted like a true Fourth Estate in many decades. As previously stated here - mass media are mere propaganda servants of their Masters, which is the American and International Left.

IMO the MAJOR issue with the media is their incessant and unwavering appeal to authority especially when it comes to scientific topics that are leveraged for public policy.
Media are trained in college to appeal to authority. This training allows them to become willing drones easily.
Real scientists are trained to question and challenge authority.
It's a different mindset.
