Drone war is crazy and will be interesting to watch for the next 20 years. I'm honestly surprised we haven't seen more terrorist attacks using them here in the states. Seems like any time there's a large crowd of 100 people or more that they could be easy targets.

speaking of, what would a swarm of those flying like a flock of birds do to an F16 if they could get in their airspace?
I imagine one of the limitations of those drone swarms would be the altitude they can reach?

Gen 6 fighters (which we already have prototypes) are a mix of manned craft and drones.

Main reason why the government is trying to ban DJI drones. They consider it a threat and we are lucky we haven't seen a terrorist attack with one yet.
I love flying DJI but I understand why the govt is so concerned. Just look at what Ukraine has done with them

Those things aren’t strong enough to carry large payload weaponry or deliver it on target fast enough, yet.
The technology to power them as long as you would need to isn’t there yet either. Lithium ion isn’t gonna cut it.

Have you seen the videos from the Russia/Ukraine shite? The future (at least with wars fought on the ground) is definitely drone warfare.
