Wife and I are looking at possibly taking a trip to Jamaica. Any recommendations for an AI?

Last year we went to Secrets Cap Cana and enjoyed it thoroughly. Were looking for a similar experience with jerk chicken involved.

The secrets resorts in jamaica (from what I’ve read) recently went on strike, service and food Isn't as good, and their beach is no good. If anyone’s been here I’d be interested in your experience was different.

Not going to hedonism, hedonism II, or desire.

It’s been years since I’ve been so I don’t know if the quality is still the same, but Couples Swept Away was always my go-to in Jamaica.

We did Sandals Montego Bay this time last year and really enjoyed it. Only negative was being 30 feet from an airport runway but you forget it exist after the first day. Also wish their were more food options.

Wife and I did our honeymoon there in 2010. Was a great experience in general. Food/drinks/accomodations/beach were all exceptional. Obviously that was 14 1/2 years ago so I do not know if it is still the same, but I would recommend it based on my experience there.

We did Sandals Ochi in Ocho Rios a few years ago. It’s a fun resort. Decent diving.

It’s not particularly chill though. So if you’re looking to party, it’s for you.

I’m currently at Sandals South Coast. The only negative so far is the drive from the airport. Our free shuttle to the resort got stuck in traffic leaving the airport and it was over 2 hours to get here.

We went there this summer. It's definitely a party place. Nothing gets going until about 10 am. The live music goes until about 10 pm. Then, the club opens and goes until 3/4am. Its a really fun place, but you need to know what youre in for before booking there.

Also, the bus ride out to Ochi SUCKS!!!!!!!!! It's over an hour.

It’s been 10 years probably. There are several Facebook pages dedicated to the resort though and people there will give advice freely.

My brother and SIL just went with another couple. They all disliked it and left a couple of days early. Said the employees were lazy and the food sucked. Also he said you can’t really hang out on the beach. There’s no chairs or umbrellas on the beach. Just above at the pool.

Sunset at the palms. Negril. Adults only and all inclusive. Didn’t break the bank and made for a great honeymoon.
