Looks very well done, with a twist on the usual biopic. I always liked Robbie Williams- he's very underrated here in the states, but massive everywhere else. intriguing.

It’d be cooler if this was about Eddie Vedder

Everybody wants to be Bohemian Rhapsody, but not everyone can.

I like Robbie Williams, but there were tens of people clamoring for this movie, if that. I get it that he's a BFD in England, but dammit man. Know your audience.

Despite being gaslit for 2.5 hours that Robbie Williams is a real person, let alone famous, it was actually pretty good. Streaming on Paramount+ now.

They need to come out with a Black Sabbath Ozzie movie someday. These POP movies are boring for the most part. The sex, drugs, and rockin roll are more interesting. Can we just get more of that instead of a no talent monkey.

Better Man is based on the true story of the meteoric rise, dramatic fall, and remarkable resurgence of British pop superstar Robbie Williams, one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

i did too when this came up. apparently he is an absolute huge deal in England, but never had mainstream US success.

when my wife and i went through his spotify we recognized a few songs.

What in the frick did I just watch

I had to jog my memory because surely I had heard of this dude. And faintly remembered he had moved to LA years ago and remember some shameless video I saw about him moving here to the states to live a “normal” life

Who tf greenlit a full length, expensive CGI biographical pic about some boy band cliche prick from England? We can’t get a fig monkey movie about George Michaels? That would at least be nasty but intriguing

Idgaf but im annoyed that i watch 90% of some semi celebrity flick about a dude who’s music is ear bleach level pop cheese

It’s a fantastic movie. High concept, a little trippy, but fantastic.

We watched the whole move not knowing it was about a real pop star. I think that helped me enjoy it.
The monkey thing makes sense once you watch the movie.

The musical scenes were very well done.

I found it to be very moving.

I liked it overall

It told a story about growing up and made more sense than the preview. The son and father reconnecting was a good payoff
