Hurt LSU more than expected I feel. He looked so explosive and had an extra burst in that USC game.

I mean we didn’t have to worry about him with school or anything.

That injury hurt.

We have an explosive running back, they just choose not to play him.

Dude is going to be 24 with 2 ACL tears. I don't think playing pro football is an option at his position.

Having Durham and Emery taking about 90% of the carries would make a difference in this offense

Williams doesn't have any play making ability at all

Totally agreed and it is painfully obvious to watch.

Should just let Williams play FB and block some edge defenders. Oh wait, we don't use a fricking FB...

First, they do play him.

Second, he's injured. He's not 100%.

Third, he's not as good at pass blocking.

But, of course, you KNOW all of that, you just want to shite on Kelly.

This is the worst run blocking OL in recent memory. That’s our biggest issue running the ball.

And I do not belied Durham is 100%. If he was I really believe he would have d as cored on that long run. When healthy he had exceptional speed.

I remember when this board used to cry about ditching the FB and going with the spread offense

Two more years. When he’s an upper class man, Kelly will let him get his.

That hurt him and the team. Plus the one just mentioned Holly? Made the rb room smaller.

He got caught from behind one that run on the first drive against Bama. If he was healthy that should have been a TD, instead we had to settle for a FG. I fully believe he would play more snaps if he was healthy but he's not in a condition to be a bell cow right now. It frustrates me too but it kind of is what it is. Emory getting hurt first game and Holly having his offseason incident kind of killed our RB depth.

He was on the field for less than 30% of snaps on Saturday.

Brian Kelly was specifically asked about this and he said he is fine. He was also not even listed on the injury report.

Josh Williams had a 32 blocking grade.

Durham is just as explosive with more power. He should be getting 80-85% of the RB touches and Josh should only be getting 3 or 4 touches a game. Not 70-30 Josh likes it’s been the last couple of weeks

This is more on the design of our offense.

We can't run block and our play designs are about as creative as dirt. It wouldn't have mattered.
