The saddest part of this is that it would probably be an upgrade.

Can you imagine Republicans asking her constitutional law questions in a confirmation hearing?

To be fair, Kamala is probably on level ground with Kentaji as far as IQ and legal expertise is concerned.

She couldn't break the tie for herself I would assume, but

That's fine. I wouldn't care at all because SCOTUS remains as it is with a 5-3-1 conservative majority (John Roberts being a wildcard). If Alito and Thomas end up calling it a day, Trump can appoint hardened conservative justices to take their place.

How is that any different as far as ruling goes? They're the same person, belief system wise. Big whoop.

Personally, I’d prefer to have justices who know the law.

It would be a tie in the senate. I bet she couldn’t vote for herself. They would have to appoint a new VP first.

You know what. Maybe these people are right. Let’s expand the Supreme Court.

Pack that thing full of as many radical right wing deplorable garbage attorneys as possible.

I just don't get the fascination libs have with Harris. She's an empty pantsuit.

Also, why go through the steps of making Sotomayor retire and then replace her with Harris? You gain NOTHING by doing so, unless you expect her not to live more than another four years.
