How old were you when you became a homeowner?

I’ve been seeing and hearing that the average age of first time homeowners keeps going up. One report said the average age is mid-fifties (sorry, forget where I saw that).
I know these days, the price of buying a house is much more than the average person can afford. Still, other housing such as apartments have also gotten expensive. Want to live in a big city? Good luck finding a studio that won’t cost an arm and a leg.
I was fortunate, I got my first house when it wasn’t crazy expensive- mid 2010’s. It’s an older home that we’ve had to do some work on, but at the price we got it at, too good to pass up.
So how about you, when did you buy your first home?

Early 30s. Probably 32 would have to do math and such so will go with that.
Don't think the article was talking 1st time, think it just mentioned age purchases last year but I could be wrong.

31 first home based on my earnings.
Bought a condo at 18 but that was an outlier situation.

27. Wasn’t making much money at the time. Luckily I had saved up and had good credit.

27 years old. The house was nothing special though. I think we paid 125k for it.
