I'm not sure I have ever seen an injury report like this in the NBA, this early

Jose Alvarado - Questionable, ankle
Zion Williamson - Questionable, right thigh soreness
Jordan Hawkins - Questionable, low back tightness

Out:

Dejounte Murray
Trey Murphy
CJ McCollum
Herb Jones

SEVEN of your top 9-10 players are out or questionable. Never seen anything like this.

I’m pretty sure we’ve had this sort of stuff under Monty when we were starting guys like Babbitt and Ajinca. But I agree thats a ton of talent on that report. The bright side - at least all should be back before 2025 lol.

If my memory serves, our big rotation was just that bad under Monty. Tyreke was always hurt though

I cannot recall us having 7 of our top 8 out 10 games in to the season

I don’t remember anything quite like this, but it’s been pretty damn bleak before.

Don’t they share a medical and training staff with the saints?

They share surgeons. Training staffs are completely different.

Lets say they're all out.

We're talking:

Guards: 2 starting and top 3 backups out (5)
SF: backup out (1)
PF: starter out (1)

So we're talking the 6th and 7th guard starting, 8th guard as a backup
starting SF, 3rd SF as your backup
backup PF as a starter, 3rd PF as your backup
starting/backup C

I never imagined I'd ever want the old training staff back but I think the one massage chair, two stretch bands, and the doctors that would diagnose a torn acl but do a knee replacement might be better than what we got.

You would almost half excuse it as a freak circumstance… if we didn’t have a minor version of this every season for the last 6 years.

This is like a giant cherry on the top of a massive shite cake!

Rough start ... But you play to win the game ... (shoutout Herm Edwards). Up against Allen/Mobley front line (first real test going against a big lineup). Do we see a Karlo or Jemmison sighting before the fourth? JRE shoots ok but is not playing big.

If Trey isn't back by Monday, we riot.

Ahh yes. Nothing quite like the stability of the pelicans during these uncertain times

Zion, Hawkins and Jose all game time decisions.

Willie said Jose tweaked his ankle this morning at shootaround.
