Is there any legal recourse to Kamala not going through the primary process?

I'm just wondering if she actually received the Democrat nomination.

No. The DNC nominated her. And there wouldn’t be any recourse even if they hadn’t.

Parties can do what they want.

Nope. Democrats can decide their candidate by any means they want. Private organization.

Muh democracy.

A reasonable question and a good place to ask it. Have an upvote.

Little late for that. She got the nomination by the dems stated rules. Bernie should have been the candidate in '16, but they jobbed him by bypassing the public vote and having superdelegates elect Hillary. It's dirty, but it's their rules.

The better question is how can the Democrat Party save Democracy when they don't even use democracy to decide their own nominee?

No, you people should read up on super delegates in the DNC. They have delegates and super delegates. Delegates are the electorate, super delegates are the party bosses and they basically can override the vote. She was nominated.

That’s not what super delegates used to be able to do and that’s especially not what they do now. They played no part in nominating Harris.
