Private sector loses employment (-28k) for first time in 4 years

Labor market clearly cooling

job openings listed on indeed and job openings tracked by fed (JOLTs) are on a steady decline

Question now is if it starts bleeding over into monthly earnings

Good. Frankly our economy can't handle full employment. Too many businesses can't get workers right now.

Cause the jobs they include on that BS report and job numbers is even like seasonal crap and part time work.

Decent paying career jobs are not really hiring because of the economy. They can not afford to pay that kind of money and benefits for a bunch of extra people

Companies over-hired after Covid.

Getting rid of dead weight/internet surfers/ WFH dogwalkers...

Productive people have no worries...

There have been layoffs and downsizing happening across my industry for the past 3 months.

If she does, she will fail spectacularly.

I believe she is simply the scapegoat.

Not likely...

Demographics, with an aging-out population, will still work in jobseekers' favor.
GDP still expanded last quarter at an almost 3% annual rate.

And let's be honest, there are people in the workforce now who were basically unemployable 10 years ago.
Lazy, uneducated, trashy; but employers had to take what they could get...

The old belief was that pushing debt with under 5.5% unemployment would create inflation.

We've been pushing debt in an economy with less than 4% unemployment for years.

The govt is trying to expand the economy with debt and immigration. Theyre literally importing people who will not have jobs.

Does anyone know exactly how these numbers are figured?

Would someone be kind enough to breakdown exactly how they come up with these stats?

Is it unemployment filings? IRS Data?

MSNBC and CNN just reported this is Trump's fault because he was President four years ago.

And if you don't agree you are a racist.

or a Nazi

or garbage

or hate woman

or weird

Assuming we keep creating jobs, which will require more debt.

I dont see how this is sustainable, there are already service cracks showing up big time.

What's funny about the threads when jobs reports get revised down is that people like c on z who pimp the BS previous numbers never post in these threads admitting it was all lies by the Biden/Harris regime.

Look at how many businesses can't find workers. Notice how many businesses now close earlier after the pandemic? Can't find a coffee shop in my area that stay open after six but for a couple. Kroger and Walmart now close at 11. Corner market at 9. Every business owner tells me how tough it is now to get workers.
