Is there a good reason we don’t try and bring him home as an experienced starter now that it’s clear Nuss is leaving? I can’t think of one. We all know Kelly loves his upperclassman at QB. . I jut can’t see starting Colllins or Swann right out the gate as we wait for Underwood.

It's not clear at all Nuss is leaving.
But if he does, I would absolutely go after Holstein to bridge the gap from the other guys we have to Underwood ultimately. You don't really want a true freshman starting, there will always be bumps in the road for them.

Are you aware he can go to the NFL from Pitt?
Why would he give up a Power 4 starting job to risk it at another school?
He could easily get beaten out by Underwood.

Yeah, Archie Manning didn't even want his sons and grandson starting as true freshmen in SEC. So people can go easy on that

He isn’t coming to LSU. He is probably staying at Pitt. He loves it there and playing for Narducci.

Fasten your seatbelt then cause theirs a good chance 2 true freshmen are starting vs Clemson. Dj Pickett is a day 1 starter at corner and if Nuss leaves underwood is starting day 1
