I made this prediction a few weeks ago but this team feels like it has destiny on its side. I think they beat Arkansas 35-10, win out, win the SEC and CFB championship and Nuss wins Heisman. Brian Kelly, this coaching staff and this talent is a winning combination. They’re not the deepest or most talented but they have “It”. Brian Kelly will win at least 2 if not 3 rings before he is done. Lack of depth in a playoff run due to injury is the only thing that can stop them.

I like the enthusiasm! Much better than trap game nonsense.

I’m not sure we win out but after the Texas A&M game the schedule gets way easier and I could see us sneaking into playoffs with two losses.

You could make a lot of money betting on that if it happens

Enjoy an upvote for your optimism. But it's blind optimism. Take those purple and gold blinders off, and that prediction seems incredibly far-fetched. I'm pulling for you to be right, but I wouldn't bet the house on it. Geaux Tigers!

I don't think there is a path for Nuss to win the Heisman, but if LSU continues to improve on offense and defense we certainly have a shot for a playoff run.

I'm hopping on this energy even though I don't agree with the logic. I will inevitably jump off board when Arkansas is up 14-0 in the 1st half, then I'll be back on board when we come back to win by 3

If lsu keeps winning and nuss puts on a show, he definitely can win the heisman. The race is wide open

Nuss is top 10 in passing yards and TDs. Also has 2 rushing TDs.

He’s in the conversation right now. It’s Jeanty’s to lose though.

If we beat Arkansas 35-10 AT Arkansas, then we can start to MAYBE talk about this team winning out.

Arkansas is going to be the 2nd toughest game remaining on our schedule other than Texas A&M. We beat those two soundly and yes, we can talk about maybe being a potential championship team.

I'll be glad if we escape the next two game stretch with one win though. Let's not get caught up in the emotional win over Ole Miss where we struggled mightily the entire game minus the final 3 minutes.

Really? I have not a talking heads consider him and that is frustrating. He would have to ball out to the max the rest of the way to have a shot. Win out and put up big numbers and its possible.

It’s pretty wild the disrespect Nuss is getting right now not being in the Heisman convo but they’ll learn soon enough. The Ole Miss win was massive. If those last two TD passes can help springboard his confidence and if he CAN START RUNNING more I like us in every match up the rest of the way. Still nervous we drop one of these next two but confident they could win out after that. The two bye weeks this year help a ton.

I’m not sure a whole lot of people were taking about Jayden at this time last year either. And a lot of national guys were talking about Nuss this week after that Ole Miss finish. He had a “Heisman Moment” and will have plenty of chances for more. I don’t think he’ll win, but he certainly has a chance. Needs to cut down on the interceptions, though. Already has 6 and the schedule only gets harder. But he’ll have enough yards and TDs to be in the conversation. We just can’t lose more than 1 more game, and he’ll have to have some game-winning touchdown drives and passes like Saturday. Not probable, but certainly possible.

I'm writing a book about the wild overreactions on this board. I haven't got a title yet. Maybe..
