I actually thought Nuss and JD5 were comparable but after seeing Nuss come during garbage time I realized how huge a drop off there is between the two. That’s less of a slam on Nuss than a better realization of the unique combination of talent and demeanor that is JD5 ...

With that being said, have we forgotten how terrible our defense was in the Ole Miss game in 2019 and in other spots? The difference between then and now is adjustments, this staff just keeps doing the same thing over and over relative to who they put on the field, coverages and how they use HPJ...

It was special teams last year and defense this year both all time lows for LSU. The lack of any apparent adjustments is what is mind boggling. The misuse of Harold Perkins is nearly criminal ...
