Perfect example just how dangerous knifes are in a fight and why you keep shooting till the assailant is neutralized. Most people calling cops out for over shooting are not reasonable or educated on this stuff.

Should have opened fire immediately after the first knife slash when the door opened. If she had been stabbing instead of slashing and / or connected with his gun hand/wrist he might not have made it.
