For The First Time Officially, Biden Deploys US Troops To Israel To Help Fight Hezbollah

Biden confirms that US troops will be deployed to Israel to man new THAAD and Patriot missile defense systems.
The deployment will be mostly in northern Israel and will consist of approximately 100-200 troops to help defend Israel against Hezbollah and Iranian attacks.

I hate sending anyone into danger, but I actually believe this deployment also protects USA interest and lives.
Also, politically, imagine how the hezbolla branch of the Dems will hate this. Ironically, northern Isreal is the part largely inhabited by muslims.

Many of the Dome/Sling related systems are guarded/manned/controlled by us, particularly in the South (Dome).
This could be a bit sensationalized - true in the sense that we've never been in the North dealing with Hez, but false in the implication this is a brand new development.
