damn. I could see doing something cheeky like this for a month or so stint. But 7.5years? I'd be depressed as hell.

He probably has millions in crypto he stole stashed away for when he gets out

He's got a hidden nest egg waiting for him when he gets out in 3.5 years.

Federal sentence. No way he only serves half. 85% of the sentence is what you can expect to serve

No way he doesn’t. He was on the most recent Tucker podcast and was way too at peace with it to not have wad of cash that would choke a horse stashed somewhere.

Having a bright outlook is the key for dealing with set backs or involuntarily new positions.

He was on Tucker explaining his situation. Apparently he's going to appeal his guilty plea. The feds told him if he pled guilty they wouldn't go after his family. He pleaded guilty and they went after them anyway. We'll see what happens

He’s gonna get a Trump pardon.

His Tucker podcast was super interesting. He was never charged or suspected of being part of the fraud at FTX. To the contrary it was clear he wasnt. He pled guilty to campaign finance violations and the implication was because he gave all his money to republicans (about 10-20 million). The gov claimed he was a straw man donor for SBF (who donated about 60-80 million to dems but didn’t get charged with any campaign finance fraud). The gov told him they would prosecute his baby momma if he didn’t plead guilty. He pled and now they are still going after her so he was filing an appeal.
Great episode. Highly recommend

He also got screwed by the judge. Prosecution was asking for a 5-7 year sentence and he got 7.5 years. Guess he didn’t give the judge a campaign donation

There’s not going to be any conjugal visits

Right. Just so happened to be the same judge as the Jean Carrol case…

That is correct. The optimism, or at least the willingness to learn from mistakes and try something again is the single greatest predictor of future success. LINK
