We are coming off a bye and game against South Alabama. Yes, we have injuries. So do they. Tre Harris might not play and won’t be 100% if he does.

This is Tiger Stadium at night against a top SEC rival. The deck is stacked in LSU’s favor.

LSU by 10. GEAUX TIGERS!

I was with you until learning we are playing with only one starting receiver and don’t have any capable backups

Are you saying Aaron Anderson isn’t capable?

Or that he’s not a starter?

I don’t want to say “there’s no reason for LSU to lose” because at the end of the day it’s still an SEC game against a talented team, but it’s almost true. We have everything going in our favor

Our top 2 receivers aren’t even on the injury report?

Ole Miss playing back to back road games is more significant than them playing 3 SEC games in row.

If LSU crowd stays for the entire game LSU wins. If they bail at halftime LSU loses. That is all.

Our leading receivers are Lacy, Anderson, and Taylor. All 3 are playing.

Losing Daniels will hurt because he's very sure-handed and good at moving the chains.... but I think we will be fine. We just need Zavion to fill that void for a couple weeks.

I understand. He is not one of our top 2 receivers.

This place is full of clowns. I wonder what goes thru people's minds sometimes. If you want to be negative just to be negative you can always focus on the defense.

Statistically :

Aaron Anderson is our leading receiver.

Kyren Lacy is our #2

Mason Taylor is #3

CJ Daniels is #4

Thomas is #5

There is a chance we won't have Daniels on Saturday...yeah we probably should go ahead and forfeit.

Ole Wish is a beat up team. Does that mean that we will definitely win?

No. It just means that they aren't at full strength after two SEC games one of which they LOST to Kentucky.

More Thomas is better. He could take one to the house on any given play.

This is a game that Mason Taylor will feast in

and we don't have much of a secondary.

Until we show we can stop the pass, I'm picking Ole Miss to win. I'm afraid it will be like last year where we have to score every damn time to win.

Aaron Anderson and Zavion Thomas to go along with Lacey are more than enough.

Zy Alexander is back and Stamps is doing better. Spears has been working himself into the starting lineup at safety and he has the talent, just limited experience. Burns and Sage, just are what they are.

That being said, this is what concerns me most. Ole Miss' strength is going against our weakest position group. The intent of the staff was to settle on starters by the bye and get everyone on the same page. We'll see if Corey and Olsen have the DBs squared away and if Baker can implement a solid scheme to slow OM.
