Yep, another fricking ambulance chaser.

Reminds me of the old joke: "What do you call 1000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean?"

" A good start".

No offense to the OP but lawyers are the reason why everything from insurance to healthcare is just about unaffordable.

The more family members that I know who pass the bar or become MDs the less impressed I become by it.

Congrats none the less.

Yea it has nothing to do with the actual insurance companies themselves and greedy hospital systems

This is what happens when you have a fake economy

Rather than kids finishing high school and being able to get a job at the washing machine factory in their town, work a career, raise a family on one income, and then retire with a pension, we decided to send all of our production overseas and let people who hate us make the things we use with slave labor

Now everybody’s kid has to go to law school or business school to prepare for a fake job. When they find out that nobody in the world actually needs a lawyer they turn to starting frivolous lawsuits to earn a buck

But who wants to pay 100 dollars more for a washing machine that’ll last for 50 years amirite

Congratulations. You deserve to be proud.

Maybe your offspring will use their skills to help our community instead of rape it. I’m sure there are plenty that do.

It is a milestone day in there life. Kudos

Last week we voted for the new billing rates for partners and associates for 2025. I have been having twinges of guilt based on the obscene rates. Reading this thread has absolved me of that and actually made me grin. Thanks OT.

What are yall charging?

Rates have gotten absurd across the board, except for state work of course.
