Would you buy a truck with 100k as a daily?

Already posted in the OB, but my truck is near the end of it's life and new prices are nuts
Edit
100,000 miles, not 100,000 doll hairs
Also, needs to be a full size. No taco. Work from home 2 days a week, 50 mile round trip the other 3..
Also need for towing an approximately 8kish camper

With how much I drive, probably not. Depends on what it is, how much they want, and how much you drive.

If you just need something for around town I absolutely would. 100k is just breaking it in

A lot more variables would be needed, but maybe.

If I lived near the recent flood zones, I'm not buying used regardless. That being said, as long as it is in good working order and you have the ability or can pay for the ability to give a truck a good inspection, why not?

My daily truck (Tundra) currently has 215,000 miles. lol.
It’s not even crossing my mind to get rid of it. Maybe at 250k, I’ll start looking around.

I would try to get the mile range to around 50k, you can find some priced around 20-25k with those amount of miles.

What truck? Was it properly maintained? How much for the truck?

All depends what "dailying" is to you. Depending on service history I'd fully anticipate being able to add 100k miles of your own if the above are well-serviced and you keep up the maintenance.

It depends. Need more details.

If the deal was right, yes. With some work basically anything will live to 300k as a commuter.

i mean all depends. what is your current debt level? what is your income? are you financing and what rate do you get? do you have 100k you can put in a stable investment that would have returns better than the interest?
i personally drive a 10 year old truck with 150k on in because i dont want to pay the crazy amounts until i have to. I make sure the wife has a great vehicle and make sure mine runs well and dont worry about the rest.

Depends on what it is and condition... maintenance/service records would be helpful.
My daily is a '14 RAM 1500 with 150K on it, a couple minor scratches/blems in the paint, otherwise in near mint condition. Regular service intervals etc... I would not hesitate to buy another in similar condition/milage. (If it could be had for a reasonable cost....tried for 6 months for my son.... used market is still nuts for clean trucks)

Depends on what you are looking at:
Tundra--Definitely
F150 5.0--Definitely
F150 Ecoboost--Hell No!!!
Chevrole/GMC of any kind--Save for repairs
Ram--Would not buy, even new.

Triple7, I am pretty sure he meant 100k miles on the vehicle. Not spending $100k on a used truck.

Half the people on here are talking about 100,000 miles on a used truck and the other half seem to be talking about $100,00.00 for a new truck.
