Who cares. This is a good thing.

If 1% of people have negative side effects from ozempic, there is a significant decreased reliance on a healthcare system where 50%+ of obese people require routine and increased healthcare needs.

It’s going to cause people to blow out gall bladders because they’re forcing it to process more fat than it can handle too quickly.

Low dose it’s probably manageable, but high dose people are asking for trouble.

I'd like to give an injection to every single "migrant" I see at my Sams Club. It's a herd of ham planets in there and all I see if my taxes being burned.

Probably not for long. The FDA just took one of the weight loss drugs off of the shortage list which means that people can’t pay $400/month for it anymore and the price is going back to $2000+ a month.

I read a story a couple weeks ago where drug companies have 15 weight loss drugs in development as we speak.

The more competition the better prices but more people are saying they aren’t as bad as originally thought. They are showing positive signs for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s prevention

Of course, the biggest issue is giving it to people that are clinically obese versus the sorority girl that wants to lose 20 pounds

She said we should get used to it because they are about to be in abundance. Apparently, Pfizer is all And has a bunch coming out with much fewer side effects

The Gall Bladder does not process fat. It's simply a holding tank for bile.

Bile is required to process fat.

If there is fat being excreted in higher than acceptable amounts it puts excess stress on the gall bladder.

Or in 10-20 when the class action suits hit because of the long term unforeseen negatives coming to light

Agreed. Put it in the water.

Self-control and exercise aren’t injectable.

I've never seen so many people wishcasting for a drug to fail and for people to get horrible side effects so they can say "I told you so"

These drugs have been around and used for diabetes and other illnesses for like 40 years.

Obesity is a horrible problem in the developed world. Are a lot of these people lazy fricks? Yes they are. But these drugs can solve this obesity crisis, which is a ticking time bomb for the economy, healthcare, government subsidies, etc.

And magic pills have never worked, the weight usually returns in a year or two.

We arent really making progress if no one is changing habits, just taking a magic pill.
