We're safe but the city is devastated. One of the things no one is talking about is the lack of leadership we have here. Our mayor and city council is not prepared for this. Years of being concerned about LGBT crap and transgender bathrooms isn't going to help them. Apparently there is panic amongst the city leaders - they don't know what to do.

Unfortunately for the native North Carolinians, transplants to that area have installed these people for their position on chicks with dicks. Not their ability to lead a town.

The saving grace there may be, there likely won't be much resistance to allowing those people to scurry back to where they came for good, unlike the efforts taken to return masses of unproductive residents of New Orleans to back the city after Katrina.

Typical politicians never being ready. They need to ask their leaders "when will you repair the gender neutral bathrooms during this event" just to mess with them.
