You're right.

Keep rollin' coal, as loud as possible.

Deleters brought this on themselves.

I have an AccessPort for my WRX. The main appeal of it, to me, is that the bundled tunes fix a second-gear RPM hang characteristic of Subaru's stock tune.

These bundled tunes are 100% 50-state legal. There's a sticker to that effect supplied with the AccessPort. In general, I think Cobb has taken care to do things right, and lumping them in with those stupid "diesel delete" companies is totally unfair.

What Cobb did that's run afoul of the EPA was to allow tuners who use the AccessPort as a programming device a little too much control, particularly over when the Check Engine light illuminates. Basically, they had the option of saying "this particular trouble code isn't relevant to this particular car."

The trouble code was still there in memory, though. Unless a state's inspection process consisted of simply making sure the CEL wasn't lit up, then nothing Cobb did interfered with it at all.

My son’s GR86 has this as well. I’ve thought about trying to address it…but the solutions don’t seem like something he’ll be able to maintain during college.

That's an effed up deal then.

It's gotten to the point where you can't even wrench on your own car.

And dealership "technicians" just throw parts at it until they get a fix.

No, I'm pretty sure it's the crippling federal government that stifles production and commerce in the name of saving the environment while their very own equipment is free of that bullshite. Must not be too important if they don't need the shite?

Meanwhile, you can buy the same machines and vehicles in other countries without any of that bullshite while they dump pollutants into their rivers and we come in and pay to clean it up.

You're the type of twink power bottom that thinks drinking out of paper straws is going to save the planet, and if those stupid farmers who make millionaires out of politicians that picked up BlueDef stocks before anyone else would shut up then we can stop this thing.

But you've got a corvette, so it's not surprising.

I've owned more diesels than you, two right now. 6.7 Ford, and 6.7 Cummins in the Frieghtliner. Deleting these newer engines makes no sense, now.

You can live out your gay fantasies somewhere else, you've sure got the lingo down.

The EPA must be the only people in the world who don't know that a lot of people ignore their "check engine" light.

Exactly.

It's those a-holes who screwed it for everyone.

EPA sucks, everybody knows that.
