WLB - Singleton/Keys/Atkins - Would like to avoid West Weeks snaps if possible
MLB - Penn
SLB - Weeks
Edge - Swinson/Womack
DT - Paez/Mckinley/Reliford
DT - Suggs/Breaux/Washington/Reliford
Edge - Jones/Shand/Womac
There's enough guys on this roster to avoid playing Burns, Gilbert, Allen, and Sage. That's what we need to do in order to win. Unfortunately, we basically need to bench all of our safeties in order to win a football game.
If you need a spy, ideally it's 40, but A) he misses tackles sometimes and B) he makes a HUGE impact pressuring up the middle. Might not get sacks, but he takes the RB out of any sort of chip situation 90% of the team, allowing Swinson and Jones to isolate and dominate the tackles.

Hopefully Toviano can move into the Star role over Burns, but that won’t make him a spy.

Obviously Womack isn’t going to play MLB but I could see Womack getting Perkins outside pass rush spot and excelling. Baker has used Swinson in coverage. Could see him using both more.
At MLB you will see Weeks and Penn constantly. I don’t know if Singleton, Keys or Atkins are ready?
Perkins tragic injury unfortunately doesn’t change and probably makes matters worse with seeing more Major Burns.

Do you watch the games?
They showed you what they were going to do after Perkins went out. It's the same defense from games 1 and 2 with Weeks and Penn at LB instead of Penn and Perkins. That's it—no need to break down anything further.

I don’t think so. It’s been Shand who’s played more snaps inside since Guillory went down. But if McKinley plays more like he did in his reps Saturday, that could change. It would be huge if he proves ready to take on rotation snaps.
