re: Josh Pate says LSU wins.....

Your average Ole Miss fan, not only the most belligerent, fully expects Kiffin to win this one. They poured huge money into Dart, Nolen and Prince for a one-year run and the schedule was supposed to be worth the investment. Things will get ugly for Lane in Oxford with a LSU win.

Watching the game on mute. Can’t take that sniveling worm Costas.
And don’t forget his special teams/recruiting coordinator guru hire Polian.
When it came to putting together a defense and special teams staff, Kelly didn’t just miss on a couple, he went O-fer. But, to his credit, what $20 million (?) in salary and buyouts later, he fixed it
Who would hire Kerry Cooks and Robert Steeples? Kerry Cooks may be the worst DB coach in football history. And the sick thing is, Kelly was well aware of this. He fired him for incompetence at ND.

Thanks. I can’t keep up with all the select and non-select stuff.

Wish the kid a quick recovery. All the drama aside, I want to keep Moses. And obviously get Lamar Brown. And, in the future, all the rest of the U High SEC talent. The bullshite about U-High kids “wanting to leave Baton Rouge” ends now that Saban isn’t cutting the biggest checks.

Would Ruston play Karr potentially in playoffs?
I think Sloan and LSU will get the one QB they want in ‘27 class. Not sure at this point which it will be. But in NIL reality, you can only pay for one. That’s just the reality these days. The classes of 2 4-5* QBs in one class isn’t going to happen.
And coming behind him will hopefully be the DL from Karr, Ouachita and McKinley’s little brother in 2026 class. Got to keep that DL rolling.

How are the 2026 DTs doing?

Anyone seen Karr this year? If so, how does commit Anderson look?
Does Berymon from Ouachita have a LSU offer?
Hope we add Stewart to the DT mix and keep the commits we have now at the position. That’s how you build championships.
I wonder if Trev will come back as HC? Last I recall he was in administration at the school after leaving the HC post? Sure he was vital to talent acquisition?
Pickett is a day 1 starting CB.
And Anding will push the returning CBs sooner rather than later.
Good. And about time.
Toviano was miscast as a CB out of desperation. He’s a good football player and should have been at safety and now star from the jump.
I am impressed with what McMahon is doing with the high school signees. But, for better or worse, college basketball has become all about signing 4th and 5th year transfers to big NIL deals. Obviously a 4th or 5th year NIL deal pays more than overseas which is where these guys would be playing otherwise.
Thanks. So sounds like you could have the 6th year player who was injured (like Guillory) but not the QBs starting their 6th season as a starter like Nix and Ward?
I’ve heard and read conflicting stories.
That UK defense had been salty the past 2 weeks. They generate a lot of pressure up the middle especially with that DT Walker who will be a top 10 pick. And their LBs are versatile.
Those USCE DEs will generate pressure on Dart for sure. Just can’t overrun him and let him escape or dump it to receivers in the flat.
I want Perkins to succeed in the NFL if for no other reason it’s a nice touch when the announcers mention LSU. But I don’t know what role he will play in the NFL? A 220 pound OLB is not going to be TJ Watt. He’s going to have to cover backs in coverage and be a sure tackler to succeed at OLB in the NFL. Something he didn’t do at LSU.
