The head of Boeing's defense and space business is out as company tries to fix troubled contracts

Theodore “Ted” Colbert III is no longer president and CEO of Boeing Defense, Space & Security, the Arlington County aircraft and aerospace manufacturer reported in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Friday evening, Sept. 20.
The announcement comes weeks after NASA decided it was unsafe to send two U.S. astronauts back from the International Space Station on the Boeing Starliner spacecraft, instead opting to send them to Earth in SpaceX’s craft in February 2025, eight months behind schedule.

He still pillaged them while burning them to the ground.
I wonder what his golden parachute is like? I would be surprised if it is less than 10 million.

Boeing isn't the only defense contractor who let a DEI candidate torch one of their divisions...

Doubt that's the case. He's a Moorehouse College/GA Tech alum after all...

Education was in industrial engineering and not aero. Basically a bean counter trying to run an aero business. This is what happens when bean counters get put in charge of engineering business.

getting cheap material from third party vendors from third world countries. hiring based on DEI. these Boeing CEOs need to be criminally charged. they are putting lives at risk.

Degree from Morehouse. I worked with a guy from Morehouse - English Degree - he could barely read or write.

Early life and education
Colbert was born in 1973 and was raised in Baltimore, Maryland.[4][5] Colbert’s father worked in labor relations for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board.[6] His mother worked as a social worker.[6] He was a three-sport athlete in high school with aspirations of becoming a lawyer or politician,[7] which were superseded by his interest in technology.[8] During his childhood, he had a Commodore 64, an 8-bit home computer, that furthered his fascination with technology, and which he used for programming.[8] As a result of his high grades in math and science, his high school teachers encouraged him to pursue this passion and study engineering.[7]
Colbert attended Morehouse College, a historically black college, for his undergraduate degree.[7][9] His decision was partly influenced by his enjoyment of the 1980s sitcom "A Different World," which portrayed life at a fictitious historically black college.[7] Colbert enrolled in a dual degree engineering program offered by ---------Morehouse --------- in conjunction with Georgia Tech.[7] Colbert graduated from this program in 1996 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Interdisciplinary Science.[8]

It's well known that the Defense industry hired McKinsey during the late 2010s, those companies then engaged in significant efforts to promote women and black people well beyond actual levels of talent. McKinsey is a cancer.
Those companies are heavily male, specifically white and asian, most women don't want to make weapons.
Since the Biden administration this has gotten worse with Biden promoting unqualified DEI DoD leaders and strong arming the defense firms into further promotion of white women and black people.
Franchetti should never have been picked over Paparo for example, but Biden and his admin have eyes for only one thing.

His LinkedIn shows General Science and Industrial Engineering, it sounds like someone spiced up the Wikipedia article because the only real degree is Industrial Engineering.

You could fill a bus with all those managers that need to be let go.

Industrial Engineering equates to not being smart enough to be a real Engineer or a real Accountant
