Weed smell in the house

In the mornings I've been noticing a weed like smell in the living room. Called Entergy thinking it might be a gas leak of some sort. They pressurized the system and no leak was detected.
It happened again this morning.
Thoughts?

Just my wife, and it's not her. ha

I had a house plant that was some type of ornamental cabbage and it started to smell like a fart when the lower leaves were dying.

Could be. It’s crazy how that smoke can travel. Every afternoon, on my commute home, I smell weed from some other car on the interstate. My windows are all rolled up, and my AC is recycling air, and it still makes its way in.

There are definitely plants out there that give off a weed like aroma that I've noticed before. Bet thats it.

Here's the argument with the wife. I think it smells like weed, my wife insists it's gas. It's not gas. Entergy came out and did all the checks and pressurized the system and detected no leaks.
It happens every day between 8:30 - 9:00 am.
It only happens in a confined area of the living room. Don't smell it at all in any other part of the house.
We moved the plants outside and it happened again this morning.

I had a smell in the kitchen years after I built a new house. Much like yours, we'd get this funny smell. One day the fridge loses power. I pulled the fridge away from inside the cabinet area. The smell was very strong. The receptacle plastic, had melted. The wires were shoved into to back of the receptacle, instead of being wrapped around the screw terminals. That was the problem. I had never seen this happen before, but that was it. Good luck with the problem.

figure anything out? You might try having some friend or relative come over with a fresh sniffer.
