I hadn't read this detail yet.... Apparently, the SS agent who saw the rifle barrel and fires shots at Routh was 10' away when he fired the shots! 10' is pretty damn close to miss.
This is discussed around 9:28 in the video.

quote:

Mike Waltz repeats how the FBI are keeping all of the pertinent details surrounding the assassination attempt concealed from the investigating committee under the auspices of an ongoing investigation. Waltz is calling for transparency in both the Pennsylvania attempt and the Florida attempt; however, despite the USSS providing information, anything from the FBI is not being shared.

The detail of a single USSS agent, accidentally discovering Ryan Routh on the fence line further emphasizes just how fortunate we are that this assassination attempt was foiled. It appears the agent just coincidentally walked up on Routh’s position during a standard security sweep, and immediately fired shots after seeing the barrel of the gun. Yikes!

The presence of God’s intervention is in these types of details.

10’ feet and zero hits?

There are a lot of factors that could cause that but it will be interesting to read the report if we are ever allowed as peons.

Reminds me of Ron White relaying the story about the cops having a shootout at point blank range and not even hitting a Suburban, let alone the suspect.

Didn't we just have a post yesterday saying that... That normally an agent was at that spot but.... This time ( day of shooting) there wasn't. And now we have a post saying that there was an agent there ... But couldn't detect/hit a guy 10 ft away?

The most important factor in getting a job these days sadly is

1a. Not be a white male
1b. Not be a male

Someone is lying. Either the SsA or fbi.
You don’t get within 10’ and miss. Unless you wanted to. Then after you miss the suspect gets away and hauls arse down the highway?

Yeah, nah. This has some real frickery going on.

If you look at the course on google maps. The Green for Hole six is less the 130' from the fence. they have vegetation/shrubs along the road that completely block the view of the course, and then a chain link fence and more vegetation growth between the fence and the green.

To make it worse, the fence to the cart path is only 30' (10 yards). he could have used a shotgun at that distance..........

so the 10' revelation means the lead SS team on the hole ahead was walking the tree/Brush line when he noticed the potential shooter.......

I have no problem with 10 feet away and no hits.

For anyone who understands a second by second account of how these scenarios unfold, it’s not unreasonable at all.

The fact that this agent noticed a muzzle and immediately fired is the number one thing you need to know.

That’s well done.

Subsequent of that the agent has no idea if it’s one people or three people in the bushes, if it’s one rifle or multiple rifles and handguns in the bushes, an agent immediately seeking cover after firing is this thing went down I’m certain.

As was demonstrated, you don’t need to hit your target in order to disrupt the attempted assassination.

He must be from Chicago. Their shot to kill ratio is abysmal in that town.
