Maybe I missed it, but was there an explanation on why the center centered the ball early

into Nuss chest? I haven't heard an explanation and it sure appeared Nuss wanted to blame the defense for the early snap.

Nuss seems to think there was a fake signal from the defense.

the refs did not think that.
Chester hasn’t said anything to my knowledge and I havent seen any angle on the TV where I could see the Lb’s hands

I haven't heard a definitive answer, but it was likely just a miscommunication. They were probably going on sound or movement, and Chester thought he saw or heard something. It happens.

I don't think I've ever seen Nuss more demonstrative. He definitely thought the defense did something.

Could have been crowd noise. Nuss seems to think the defense were doing something to cause it. Nobody knows for sure.

When the refs gaslight the LSU defense for shifts or sounds, why not gaslight the refs back for your opponents defense.

Big Dick Joe was cool under pressure no matter what the refs called or didn’t call.

Nuss will get there. Give him time.

Watching the film the middle linebacker was emphatically making hand signal but unable to tell whether he was also yelling at the time.

Right before the snap, the MLB (I think I'm remembering that correctly) signals to his teammates and appears to be yelling something. Based on where he's facing, it doesn't look like he was trying to imitate the snap signal, but maybe the crowd noise led to Chester misinterpreting that yelling for Nuss calling for the ball?

Based on the bullshite they called on us clapping isn't necessary.

BK said their calls on us were legit. first one LB clapped to get a DL attention. 2nd on was DE waving his hands unnaturally

I was at the game, and I can tell you the noise was deafening. I'm surprised we did as well with snap counts as we did...seriously! The fans were 100% into this game start to finish, and they were incredibly LOUD. The place was rocking like a top 10 LSU v Alabama game in TS.

He actually said it shouldn't come down to the refs and was just trying to move on.

Nuss said in a post game interview that he was pissed because the defense was making noises AND making illegal motions with their arms. But he specifically said "it wasn't on Chester".

He did say that nearly on. But then someone specifically asked him about the defensive delay of game penalties and he said both calls were legitimate.

Nobody asked him about the early snap on offense, though.

More mythmaking for no reason. Burrow was yelling at his teammates yesterday when they didn't line up correctly, then slammed his helmet into the turf when the Chiefs committed a back-breaking penalty.

Nothing wrong with a little fire when appropriate. Emotions are part of the game.

I'm pretty certain that he thought it was time to hike it.

I didn’t see the Bengals game, but I can only assume that Cincy, not the Chiefs, committed a back breaking penalty.

He addressed the DL penalties individually. He explained that they were legit calls.

He may have also said it shouldn't come down to refs, which most coaches say. But IDK why you even responded to mine with that.
