Do people on here really think he destroyed her tonight?

I know it's impossible to say anything negative about Trump, and Im voting for him, but it wasn't his best night, and she did better than expected.

You're in denial if you don't think there are people just wanted to see someone more alert and competent than Biden and she accomplished that.

Why is it so hard to say it wasn't his best night? She wanted to bait him and get him mad, and she succeeded.

Everyone on here is saying every poll shows he won. Really? A poll other than Fox News, OAN or Newsmax? Not what im seeing.

And if he "destroyed" her like you're saying, why have all the betting markets shifted with her as the favorite overnight? The aggregate site that compares all betting markets has Harris with a 51.8% chance and Trump with a 46.9%. Trump was in the lead at this time yesterday.

i guess they just like giving out free money.

Yes I think he won the debate, but he didn't have to destroy her. He simply didn't need to get destroyed.

The clearest tell is how her team instantly started calling for another debate. If they really thought she was winning, they would never agree to another debate.

The bar for her is so low that if she can just complete a sentence that’s a victory. That’s how sad our country is. DEI at its best

That was a victory for Kamala.

Yeah the mods are biased but Trump knew that going in. She got under his skin and got him off message and angry.

1. Betting is designed to get money to move not predict an outcome.

2. I agree with the NYT of all places. She preformed better than expected so it felt stronger than it was to many. The undecided do not feel it moved the needle for them, in fact it likely moved them closer to Trump

Pressure is really on J.D. now.
I'm gonna vote a straight R ticket as usual but Harris won that one.

He worked his way back on top mostly after the switcheroo, and the DNC. And then he debates and he is now behind. One could surmise the debate impacted him negatively. I'm sure he was given prep advice. I'm sure he did not follow it.

Dude, you’re free to say whatever you want about Trump. Please do. Whatever floats your boat. Just don’t expect anyone to actually give a shite.

Trump needs to win Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina.

Even after last night, he can still pull that off.

I don’t think he “won” last night or even necessarily performed well but seems like a lot of things I’m seeing are indicating Kamala’s own showing didn’t accomplish a whole lot in moving the needle.

So all in all, you could say it’s looking like a wash ….which works out just fine for DJT.

He did terrible. Sure there were times he focused on the bad about this admin, her policies, flip flopping, but the plan was clear has day.
Get under his skin and attack his ego and then he will wander off defending himself and fail to make an argument against her policies and what she has done.
I can't understand whoever was coaching him up wouldn't steer him away from this. KH talking about the rallies, generals against Trump, being indicted, was all part of her setting a trap so she didn't have to discuss the issue or question, then it sets him off chasing a rabbit so he doesn't discuss or attack her policies.
It was like Jack Nicholson in a Few Good Men, get under his skin and poke at his ego and then he loses focus on the plan and play book.

I agree with you Dallas.

Thinking that Trump won last night is like being an LSU fan and thinking that the 4th quarter 3rd and 1 call against USC was a good one.

Trump was bad. Same tired talking points. Let her get away with not answering questions.

Right out of the gate they asked her if Americans are better off now than 4 years ago? She never answered. When they went to him he should hsve said the answer you are trying to avoid saying is NO.

So many missed opportunities.

I was kinda thinking he was bad myself. But then I realized the cast of characters on here squawking about it so much and knew it wasn’t something to give much credibility to.
