Or is this the kind of thing that doesn’t change until after the season.

What kind of multi million dollar coach doesn’t realize the run isn’t working. My younger sister even said something about that and she hates football and hasn’t watched an entire game, ever. “Why do they keep running”

It reminded me of the Bama game last year when the armchair coaches that we all make fun of were screaming at their TV’s to put a spy on Milroe. Then our 10 million dollar coach after the game says “in hindsight we should’ve put a spy on Milroe.” shite any one of us would’ve paid money to have the opportunity to tell them that.

Are they just not allowed to make changes outside of halftime or something? This has to be addressed before Ole Miss or we’re going 8-4, maybe 9-3 if we upset the crap out of somebody.

He said they discussed not getting Lacy the ball more AFTER the game.

He wears a headset all game. How about flipping down the mic and shouting GET LACY THE BALL?

I hope they are not hamstringing Nuss to make audibles at the line. If they are they need to let him go and allow him to make mistakes and learn when LSU is playing team they can afford to make a few more mistakes than normal.

See this is so infuriating. It’s as if they had every remaining play scripted at halftime and they couldn’t stray from the script.

If something isn’t working stop doing it. You know it’s bad when I secretly hope BK and Sloan lurk here.

People might laugh and scoff because that’s a typical fan thing to say who doesn’t know football. They’re probably right, except for the fact that he’s done this multiple times. Echoed what we all said during the game, after the game was over.

I don’t know why people are pretending that Brian Kelly had no say in the play calling on Sunday night

First off I was not in favor of the hire and I think Sloan and Hankton are not the right hire but maybe they will get better. What good head coach does not make on the field in game adjustments. He has a head set and hears every play called. To me that is concerning. I feel like there is no sense of urgency with Kelly, and that is what he is blaming his team for. This was his biggest must win yet and Kelly made the same mistakes he made in his previois first game loses.

This game was so winnable. You were in numerous positions to go up 24-13 and you got nothing.

somebody shoulda told Nuss to actually read the zone read. We do that we win this game pretty easily.

they were vital to promote to Co-Offensive Coordinators due to Underwood, recruiting and continuance, and our QB and WR development. You just don’t replace coaches like these.

Hopefully the playcalling can improve though. I have faith they can clean things up before our next big game.

BK, with his highly overrated O-line wanted to impose his will with the running game in the 2nd half, and failed. That most likely took Nuss off his game. 2nd half offense was Les Miles bad. If Kelly wants to fix the problem, he needs to look in a mirror. Red zone failures need to be addressed as well.

This team may just be very average. We won’t know for sure until Ole Miss.

I don’t know why people are pretending that Brian Kelly is a NC caliber coach. He’s never sniffed a NC.

We paid all that money for a name.

I’ve said all along he won’t make yr 5. Time will tell.

And by they, he means he and himself... Sloan is just a body in the role of OC. This is CBK's offense

I guess they forgot how well he caught the ball on the first opening series. With all that play calling and offensive scheming going on, it really easy to see how you could forget about the number one proven receiver on the team and just not throw the ball to him. NOT.

I seem to remember us not pushing the ball down field in a lot of JDs first year I think this is a BK thing not a Sloan thing.

No one and I mean no one should think it was not Kelly that told Sloan at half time to run the ball. He said it before the game and going in at half time. Kelly had the mind set for weeks that we could run the ball on anyone, well that did not happen and for him to say after the game we ran the ball well enough to win is total BS, what game was he watching. O-line got pushed back on short yardage situations and the great Will Campbell looked like he was in slow motion pulling for run blocking. Watch the the game over and over and you'll see an O-line that got stuffed except for pass blocking.

They’ll run wild over Nicholls State. And then proclaim the run game is fixed.

Well he should have asked SC to quit double teaming Lacy in the second half. On one play the triple covered him whether accident or design…

Point is if he is doubled then someone else is open.
