It will be strange initially without Moreau, but Hester is an excellent choice imo.

Hope that Doug gets healthy whether he returns to the booth or not. Doug has been so good for so long and he will be missed. Godspeed Doug!

My favorite thing was back when LSU was cooking in the mid 2000s was listening to road games on the radio. Right before kickoff Doug goes over lineups and keys to the game, having to yell over the road crowd as the teams line up for the kickoff. Doug would wrap up and say “and here’s the voice of the Tigers… Jim Hawthorne”

With Hawthorne and all of this miscalls and now Doug Moreau possibly being done, l miss the good ole days of listening games those two called. I think Hester will be a great addition but I’m kinda worried with his monotone voice. Also surprised they didn’t move Gordy up and bring Hester to the sideline. Not saying Gordy would be better but he has been with the network for a long time and he is Hester’s boss.

Best wishes to Doug for a quick recovery from his surgery. I love listening to the LSU broadcast during the games! Will miss his voice on air, but excited for Hester to get an opportunity. He is really good on air as well!

I saw Borne was out for medical reasons I think. Do you know what his issue is?
