This company Reflect Orbital has an array of mirrors in space that they say can be aligned to deliver sunlight to anyone who orders it.

This was a James Bond movie.

ETA: Halle Barry was looking fine in it too.

Did you read the site? It says they are trying to do this. It doesn't exist as of now.

No. I watched a TikTok about it and they showed a guy ordering light.

Who is the market for this? s
Astronomical costs for something you have to wait at most 12 or so hours for to get free.

Next year’s fantasy football loser has to get one entire week of sunlight.

Solar farms but solar farms already have a hard time getting approved with surrounding neighbors. There is a fight ongoing in Calcasieu parish over one now. I couldn't imagine if the neighbors had to deal with 24/7 sunlight beaming down around them.

Also, there have to be some long-term environmental issues with areas of the earth not getting a night cycle that aren't used to it like parts of Alaska are.

i didn’t read the article, but how “accurate” is this sunlight?
because i’m gonna be pissed if my next door neighbor has my place looking like high noon in middle of the night.

And what happens when some neighbor fight turns into a guy ordering light on his nemesis house for a month at a time?
