Derrick Carr will suit-up for the Saints and win 5 to 6 games and abysmally represent Louisiana……
Then CASH his $50 Million Dollars worth of Saints Checks !!!!!

I really don't give a shite tbh, I've never seen a fan base like this one. You want the saints to tank and fail and when they tank and fail you complain about them tanking and failing. Really confusing and the Derek Carr hate is wild

It makes me feel like you are not familiar with Derek Carr's contract. You're awful ignorant for a supposed Saints fan:
$30 million total cash in 2024.
$37.5 million average over the whole 4 year deal.
Spotrac
His salary is 18th out of 32, and most of those below him are still on rookie deals.
Overthecap
There are plenty of reasons to complain about Carr, but his contract is not one of them.

Derrick Carr has stolen a crazy amount of money over his career being an average qb. Dude has won life for sure.

IMO, if you gave Carr a similar line to what Brees had, we would be talking about him in the MVP conversation. You could put prime Brees behind our current offensive line and we would be calling for a rebuild

You don’t get it….. it’s not the money per se exactly……
It’s the fact that his contract PREVENTS a rebuild by 3-4 years because it’s an albatross around the Saints CAP Space neck.
For example, next year it’s been noted Carr counts 50 million dollars against the Saints CAP if you cut him ….so you can’t cut him !!
That’s year number 3 thrown down the drain.

It’s not his fault, it’s the saints fault for not developing a QB on his rookie deal. The market dictates what QBs make. Only QB you can get in the cheap anymore is a rookie.

It isn't Derek Carr's fault he is getting paid. Is he Mahomes? No. But he isn't Trevor Semian. Give the guy a break. He is a good guy who needs our support and he isn't the trash QB that you think he is.
When we got him we were not in a position to draft high & we had nobody else. Blame the front office for that. Don't blame Derek. He wants to win for the Saints. Support him.

So what do you think? You think you just tank one year and the next year you get one high draft pick maybe two and all of a sudden you're a Super bowl contender again? Whether you like it or not it is an business in an entertainment industry, they need asses in the seats in the Superdome it takes money to make money. If they tank asses don't go to the dome That's why they prevent the tank and if they're just competitive enough that money flow in the business stays there which ultimately is the goal. I guarantee you they care more about profits than winning a Super bowl.
