Also not making abortion illegal is different from promoting it.

Just my 10000 foot view, but the RNC seemed to do everything they could to pander to absolutely any voter that might have been on the fence. Almost to a fault of bothering the base. Which I thought should be the whole point. I was pleased.

I don't see how the DNC last night captured even a single more vote than they already had. Not a single one. That was just a look at us, take it or leave it, internal celebration.

They define themselves by the absence of virtues possessed by others while congratulating themselves.

It’s bizarre.

147 mentions of trump is a direct result of having zero policy. Bc they don’t have to with their base.

I pray that’s not the case for the ones they are wanting to sway.

Talk Trump 90% of the time and avoid actual policy discussion.

What’s funny is that they say all Trump does is personal attacks, and yet that’s their whole campaign. There’s no substance; it’s just OMB.

Furthermore, calling someone incompetent like Trump does is NOT a personal attack. Calling someone weird is. The former gets at whether the candidate will be effective if elected; the latter is what a 12 year old says to another 12 year old.

What about wanting to publicly fund it and promote it, even rebrand it to make it more appealing? Is that different? Because that’s the Dem platform on it.

These same people will call anyone who plans to vote for Trump a cultist, but their entire identity has become nothing more than the anti-Trump party.

I watched the entire thing not wanting to miss any of the lead up to Biden's farewell. That is until Biden repeated the lie of "good people on both sides" - I turn channels and wanted to see if there was a single news commentary that would point out the absolute, intentional LIE that represented.

not one.

Someone mentioned that it 'ignored the context' of Trump's statement.

The entire thing was a lesson in abject mendacity - not ONE person went to the podium with the intent of speaking TRUTH - every single word was dripping with absolute mendacity, adolescent jealousy, pure evil, irresponsible exaggeration, or dedication to hiding their true motive.

true motive?? ====> absolute political control with zero allegiance for truth or responsibility.

This group would have been in "high heaven" as henchmen for the 3rd Reich.

I loath them to the depths of my soul.

Funding it with taxpayer money and skyscreaming like gutshot banshees when the issue is left to the states gets pretty close to promoting it, I'd say.

Their ticket is they’re not Trump.

Kamala has zero policies. And there are enough people with TDS that it could possibly get her elected
