Kirk Herbstreit stepping up

Kirk Herbstreit doubled down on his recent comments that men don’t belong in women’s sports.
The ESPN “College GameDay” host explained he’s been “biting [his] tongue” about the topic for years, and he’s “done giving any s—ts about it” during an appearance on OutKick’s “Don’t @ Me! with Dan Dakich” on Tuesday morning.
“I didn’t give a s–t, though. I don’t really give a s–t at all. Like, I’m done giving any s–ts at all about any of it,” Herbstreit said when asked about responding to a question about transgender athletes on social media last week. “It’s almost like there are two different sets of rules and if you have a view that’s a little bit more traditional — I’m a Christian guy, it’s like there’s a different set of rules for that viewpoint and it’s hard to just turn the other cheek time after time after time. I didn’t really care.

“So, yeah, I didn’t really care and I don’t care at all, which is a good thing. I think it’s good and healthy to get to that place, compared to, ‘Oh, gosh, I don’t want to get canceled. I don’t want to get people upset.’ I don’t give a s–t. I’m just going to say certain things.
“My problem is I have a temper and so if I get to that point, if that fuse gets lit, I let it go and then I’ll explode and say something, so that I have to be careful of that.”

Didn’t love his crying during blm. It was clearly pandering. I am glad he is going the right way here. Truthfully it’s a no brained since most agree with. I hope more people with a national platform start speaking out.

Didn't he cry on the air a few years ago about Breese or some made up racist nonsense?

So he doesn't care. Riveting

Excellent post. Easy to read and follow.

As a society we really need to think about what kind of children we want to bring into this world. Of course that starts with the decision regarding who we decide to breed with.
Genetics are getting out of control, don't ya think? Meanwhile, "healthcare" and its associated industry is BOOMING!!

Don't recall the exact situation but it was something like that and it was pathetic.
Props to him for getting it together now.

Not caring is way better than pretending to care and getting on board with deviancy like the rest of them wouldn't you think?

This will be him when his Disney overlords come down on him

While true, I would rather him see the light then continue down the path of cuckness

That plane ride back from LSU-Bama in 2022 really changed him for the better.
I guess he’s thinking “frick it. Everybody has already seen me intoxicated and letting the liquor talk no need in trying to tow a line now.”

It's so ironic that all the young liberal women support this trans shite to their own detriment.

Oh I definitely agree. It just seemed a bit repetitive.

He only cares because it's precious women whom are affected. If it was women playing in men's sports like that Vanderbilt kicker he would be for it.

Good for him.
He’s a public figure who depends on this for his livelyhood so I don’t fault him for being nervous in the past Maybe he’s at a point now where speaking truth is more important than his job?
On the BLM matter, I’m sure he was in that circle that believed the whole world was racist against black people…..despite the fact he’s constantly in contact with black people that are in the 1%….and everyone trying to outdo the other with virtue signaling. Groupthink is a powerful thing.
