It's a ploy to see how fast Elly De La Cruz can run around a NASCAR track.

If the Braves are that interested in playing in a poorly-attended cavern, they should just play a game at Turner Field again

I'm so damn excited. I don't care what the tickets run, I'll make the relatively short drive from Lexington to go watch the Reds play there.
Why would the tickets be expensive? It's a huge stadium with terrible views. It's just a gimmick to see how many people they can get to attend a baseball game.

I see no reason they shouldn't make this a twofer. A baseball game with a nascar race around the track.

Although not as popular as Truist, the Braves never drew less than 2 million and had several seasons drawing 3 million+.
If you really wanted to see a poorly attended cavern that would be old Fulton County in the 80's

Make one of the turns in play. Like Tal's Hill, with the added risk of getting hit by a car.

Tickets will be dirt cheap, maybe free

I’d have them play 20 more games at the field of dream field over this

They should have got the A's and the Marlins to play and see what the attendance would be

Thank you. There was nothing wrong with Turner Field.

If they wanted to be really inventive they’d figure out a way to play two games in the stadium at once

Any renderings of how the hell they are going to fit a baseball fields dimensions in there?

With the exception of it was in the ghetto, had literally 1 bar within walking distance, required you to risk you life walking Underground or catching a bus transfer from MARTA…sure.

The speculation is it will be August 1st. Both teams have July 31st off before the start of a three game set in Cincinnati and could easily travel there.

Think I’m gonna have to make the drive for this one. Go Reds!

Might as well since NASCAR can't sell the stadium out anymore.
