No Man’s Sky still full price($59.99) in PS store 8 years after release.

That’s ridiculous. Was hoping to try this one out today. I guess I’ll have to check out Amazon or the local used game store.

From 7/18-8/2 it was on sale for $23.99 on the PS store, so you just missed it. Just set a price alert on psprices (dot) com.

I tried doing this for a Switch Pokemon game. Went to gamestop and the used ones were $55 or $49.

AAA games almost never get permanent price reductions anymore, as it dilutes the discount percentage. But as has been said a few times on this thread, NMS routinely goes on sale at a 50% discount or deeper. Just set an alert and pull the trigger next time it does.

I’ve been playing it for the first time since the last update was announced and I have sunken a lot of time in and have enjoyed the experience. Definitely worth picking up, especially on sale.

The game goes on sale often plus every single update has been free. No DLC. Buy now for full price or wait for it to go on its monthly sale

Always get a disc drive with your console. Used games. Digital storefronts on console will never drop the price cheap. It’s how they recoup the loss of selling you a $500 console.

They do on steam. Console digital storefronts, sure.
